Travis Chapman Cries Racism at Indigenous Science, Bible in Hand

Travis Chapman, armed with John 3:16 and 18 Facebook friends, has declared Indigenous science “racist nonsense.”

Never mind that his own religion was imported here with colonisation and used to justify policies that stripped Aboriginal people of rights… apparently, the real racism is celebrating Indigenous knowledge.

In Chapman’s worldview, Aboriginal astronomy isn’t about mapping stars, it’s about oppressing him personally.

And if science rooted in Country is “nonsense”, then perhaps Travis should thank nonsense for agriculture, weather prediction and sustainable fishing methods.

But instead, he clutches scripture while dismissing wisdom older than his holy book.

Chapman doesn’t fight racism; he performs it, projecting his fears onto a community trying to share knowledge.

Satirically, one might say the only nonsense here is Travis’s confused sermon delivered via Facebook rant.
