Many Indians Were There: Jacinta Nampijinpa Price’s Community Support Event

In a move that’s turning heads across Australia, Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price has announced a breakthrough in political science.

If you hold a Liberal event in an Indian community centre, it becomes an Indian community event.

The mathematics is simple – keys plus trestle tables equals mandate.

“There were many Indian’s there”, the Senator explained – speaking from a lectern wedged between a PA system and a raffle barrel.

“Just like when I hold Liberal events in Aboriginal communities, many Indigenous people attend.”

Witnesses later confirmed the Indigenous attendance at those events as “Jacinta and her mum”.

But supporters praised the Senator’s fresh approach.

“It’s efficient” one organiser said. “Why build trust when you can book it by the hour”.

 A flyer stapled to the noticeboard offered the same hall for badminton mornings, children’s dance practice and now, accidental multiculturalism…

Critics / haters asked whether a venue’s existence proves endorsement.

But Price dismissed their outrages concerns as “woke” and proposed a national rollout.

“I’ll take my show to every cultural hall in the country” she declared.

“By December I’ll have united Australia through the power of bonds, chairs and a refundable cleaning deposit.”

However, a community Elder summed it up.

“We rent our hall to many people. Weddings, birthdays, piano exams… this is the first time someone tried to claim the piano examiner as a supporter.”
