First Peoples STEM Storytelling – Meet-the-Author Session-Why STEM Needs Indigenous Storytelling – and How You Can Join the Conversation-Dean Foley

As an author dedicated to inspiring young minds, I’ve come to appreciate the profound impact of storytelling. In particular, Indigenous stories enrich STEM education, offering unique insights that mainstream narratives often overlook.

Moreover, these stories highlight the significance of diverse perspectives in problem-solving, innovation and cultural understanding.

Therefore, the “Who Was (“Who’s”) – First Peoples” series was born out of a desire to address this gap and spark interest among students.

Consequently, I’m excited to invite you to our upcoming “Meet-the-Author” session.

Not only will this event explore the crucial role of Indigenous storytelling but it will also demonstrate how schools and organisations can actively participate because together, we can foster an inclusive educational environment and inspire the next generation of Indigenous STEM leaders.
