“We reconcile bank accounts first, people second” explains CEO.

In a groundbreaking ceremony designed to celebrate Australia’s latest achievements in reconciliation, Karen Mundine (CEO of Reconciliation Australia) has awarded the prestigious ‘Reconciliation Innovator of the Year’ honour to a law firm acclaimed for charging Indigenous communities a remarkable $45 million for delivering justice worth about $10,000 each.

“It’s not every day that reconciliation looks like a corporate spreadsheet” Mundine announced proudly.

“This innovative approach proves that justice can indeed be profitable – at least, for us elites…”

When questioned about the ethical implications, Mundine confidently responded:

“Reconciliation isn’t cheap… and lawyers reconciling their hefty fees with Indigenous disadvantage is truly innovative. They’re pioneering a reconciliation that bridges the gap between justice and outrageous profit.”

The law firm representatives graciously accepted the award, declaring they’ll be reinvesting their profits into “further groundbreaking reconciliatory marketing campaigns”, which Reconciliation Australia is expected to endorse wholeheartedly.
